Guide Patterns DVDs feature Jerry Darkes (Great Lakes region Fly Fishing Manufacturer’s Sales Rep, Professional Fly Tyer, Author, Steelhead Guide) and other well known Midwest regional experts sharing their most productive fly patterns for catching smallmouth bass and steelhead trout throughout the Great Lakes region and beyond.

Each Guide Patterns DVD title is approximately 60 minutes and features fly tying instructions for six fly patterns. Instructions are easy to follow and presented in a clear, concise, and visable manner. All tying instruction is filmed "over-the-shoulder" so each pattern is tied with the same view as if you were sitting at the vice on your fly tying bench. This makes it fun and easy to tie flies along to the DVD. Accompanying the tying instruction for each pattern is a discussion on the design and materials used. Also included in each Guide Patterns DVD is exciting on-water fishing action and fishing tips to demonstrate the fish catching ability of these proven patterns.
