I made a flip flop wreath but when the glue gets warm everything starts falling off. How do you avoid this? Thank you, Angela

I use the gorilla glue sticks. They are super strong. I also glue in all areas I can that won’t show from the front. And I use wire on the top flipflops to secure them from falling forward. I use a round board from Michael”s that way I can secure them well in all areas. Wrap the wire on the top ones only. Wrap around the top knot for the strap and wrap it around the board. Helps greatly. I can send you photos if you want. Good luck and happy crafting.

      Leslie,
Hope you get this. We should have a better way to communicate. I use the 12in Floral craft ring. I glue the 1st 8 on that REALLY good. You can use gorilla glue- or E6000. Gorilla glue works good for the craft ring. Then when they are all glued on and I wait a bit. I flip it over and glue some more in the places where the ring meets the flip flop on either side. I use the floral wire after I have the second layer on. You want to have the top flipflops pulled back to make sure they all stay back. So, use E6000 for the top flops it is more secure and shows less. You can make it cleaner looking. When all is dry lace the wire over the ( not sure what you want to call it– the little knob that is at the top for the strap) wrap around 2-3 times and then twist. Not sure if you understand that. I don’t know how to send you info from here. I don’r have a website yet. Soon though. My aunt and I are working on it. Hope this helps. Good luck. Just keep experimenting. You’ll get it to work your way. I have found a few new techniques and am learning every day.
